Privacy Policy (English)

This Privacy Policy explains how Teciora ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the Mood-Ring Weather mobile application (the "App"). Our design principle is simple: the App should know as little about you as possible while still working well.

1. Summary (TL;DR)

We use your location only minimally: your current location is used to fetch weather data, and only a coarse, prefecture/region-level location is stored on our servers for notification delivery (city-level only for emergency safety alerts). We do not keep a history of where you have been.
Your personal comfort data (calibration feedback such as "too hot / just right / too cold", sensitivity profile, comfort memories) never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server.
We use no advertising ID, no ads SDK, and no third-party analytics SDK.
You sign in anonymously (a random ID). We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
You can delete all of your data at any time from the App's settings.

2. Information We Process

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

No name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos
No advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID); the App contains no advertising SDK
No third-party analytics or behavioral-tracking SDK
No location history or movement profile
No health or medical records (your comfort feedback stays on your device and is not health data we receive)

4. Service Providers (Processors)

We share data only with processors strictly necessary to run the App, and only the minimum described above:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

On-device data (calibration, comfort memories, language choice) remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Server-side data (settings, favorites, coarse notification area, push token) is kept while your anonymous account is active.
Settings → Delete all my data removes your server-side data and your on-device personal data. Uninstalling the App alone removes on-device data; use in-app deletion first if you also want server-side data removed.
Purchase records are retained by Apple/Google/RevenueCat as required for accounting and legal obligations.

6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)

Performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): weather fetching, notifications you enabled, subscription management
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): service security, abuse prevention, rate limiting
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): OS-level location permission and notification permission, which you may revoke at any time in system settings

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because we hold only an anonymous ID, exercising these rights is easiest via the in-app deletion function; otherwise contact us at contact@teciora.com.

7. Region-Specific Notices

Japan (APPI): We handle the above data as described and provide deletion via the App. Requests: contact@teciora.com.
California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may request deletion as described above.
China (PIPL): If the App is offered in mainland China, separate consent and data-localization requirements will be assessed before launch.

8. International Transfers

Our processors (Cloudflare, Google, Apple, RevenueCat) may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

The App is a general-audience weather app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; since we collect no name, email, or precise stored location, exposure is minimal.

10. Security

All network communication is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Server-side data is stored on infrastructure with encryption at rest (Google Cloud / Cloudflare). Access is restricted to what notification delivery requires.

11. Important Disclaimers (Safety & Health)

Heat-related alerts in the App are our own estimates computed from weather data; they are not official meteorological-agency alerts. Always refer to official sources (e.g., JMA / Ministry of the Environment in Japan) for final decisions.
Comfort scores and personal notifications are informational, not medical advice.

12. Changes to This Policy

We will post any changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the App.

本プライバシーポリシーは、Teciora(以下「当方」)が、モバイルアプリ「Mood-Ring Weather」(以下「本アプリ」)においてお客様の情報をどのように取り扱うかを説明するものです。設計原則はひとつ——アプリが快適に動作するために必要な最小限しか、あなたのことを知らないこと。

1. 要約

位置情報は最小限: 現在地は天気データ取得のためにのみ利用し、サーバーに保存するのは通知配信用の都道府県レベルの粗い地域情報のみ(熱中症・暴風・大雪などの緊急通知に限り市区町村レベル)。位置の履歴は保持しません。
体感データはオンデバイス完結:「暑かった/ちょうど/寒かった」のフィードバック、感受性プロファイル、体感記憶は端末から外に出ません。
広告 ID・広告 SDK・第三者アナリティクス SDK は不使用。
ログインは匿名(ランダムな ID)。氏名・メールアドレス・電話番号は収集しません。
アプリの設定からいつでも全データを削除できます。

4. 委託先(処理者)

本アプリの運営に厳密に必要な事業者にのみ、上記の最小限のデータを取り扱わせます。

5. 保存期間と削除

端末内データ(キャリブレーション、体感記憶、言語設定)は、削除またはアンインストールまで端末に残ります。
サーバー側データ(設定・お気に入り・粗い通知地域・プッシュトークン)は匿名アカウントが有効な間保持します。
設定 →「すべてのデータを削除」で、サーバー側データと端末内パーソナルデータを削除できます。アンインストールのみでは端末内データのみが消えるため、サーバー側も消したい場合は先にアプリ内削除を実行してください。
購入記録は、会計・法令上の義務に基づき Apple / Google / RevenueCat が保持します。

6. 法的根拠(EEA/英国 — GDPR)

契約の履行(6 条 1 項 b): 天気取得、有効化された通知、購読管理
正当な利益(6 条 1 項 f): セキュリティ、不正利用防止、レート制限
同意(6 条 1 項 a): OS の位置情報許可・通知許可(システム設定からいつでも撤回可能)

アクセス・訂正・消去・制限・ポータビリティ・異議の各権利を行使できます。当方は匿名 ID しか保持していないため、最も確実な行使方法はアプリ内の削除機能です。その他のご請求は contact@teciora.com まで。

7. 地域別の通知事項

日本(個人情報保護法): 上記のとおり取り扱い、アプリ内から削除手段を提供します。お問い合わせ: contact@teciora.com
米国カリフォルニア州(CCPA/CPRA): CCPA が定義する「販売」「共有」は行いません。削除請求は上記の方法で可能です。
中国(PIPL): 中国本土で提供する場合、個別同意・データローカライゼーション要件を配信前に別途審査します。

8. 国外移転

委託先(Cloudflare・Google・Apple・RevenueCat)は、標準契約条項(SCC)等の適切な保護措置のもと、米国を含むお客様の国以外でデータを処理する場合があります。

9. 子どもについて

本アプリは一般向けの天気アプリであり、子ども向けではありません。子どもの個人情報を意図的に収集することはなく、氏名・メール・精密な位置の保存自体を行わないため、リスクは最小化されています。

10. セキュリティ

すべての通信は暗号化(HTTPS/TLS)されます。サーバー側データは保存時暗号化を備えたインフラ(Google Cloud / Cloudflare)に保存し、アクセスは通知配信に必要な範囲に限定します。

11. 重要な免責事項(安全・健康)

本アプリの熱中症関連通知は、気象庁・環境省の公式アラートの再配信ではなく、気象データから本アプリが独自に算出した参考情報です。最終的な行動判断は気象庁・環境省の公式情報をご確認ください。
体感スコアおよびパーソナル通知は情報提供であり、医療アドバイスではありません。

12. 本ポリシーの変更

変更があった場合は本ページに掲示し、最終更新日を更新します。重要な変更はアプリ内でお知らせします。
